How do CCTV drain Surveys work?

To evaluate the state of the pipe work or to ascertain why a drain or pipe is clogged, a push-rod camera is inserted into a 100mm to 150mm pipe or drain. A robotic crawler camera is put into the drain or pipe for bigger diameter pipe construction. This will conduct surveys with 150mm to 1200mm diameters. For inspection and repair, this offers a precise record of the internal pipe condition.

CCTV Drainage Surveys Equipment

A CCTV drainage survey includes placing a camera through a local manhole, rodding cap, or rodding eye,and pressing it through the pipe system to capture live images and videos of its inner mechanism. The camera’s journey through the drain, which can be handled manually or mechanically, will record the overall distance it’s travelled while capturing footage as it goes.
